Trekking route that visits the 4 lakes in Huaraz is also known as “Trekking Paso del Zorro”, This walk is an unforgettable experience since the circuit joins the 4 Lakes: Ahuac, Mullaca, Carhuac and Radián; with 22 km distance likewise is known like one of the backpack hiking wiht porters, cook and guide.

Itinerary

Day 01: Huaraz – Wilcahuain – Radian Lake–  Mullaca Lake & Carhuac. Campsite: Mullaca Lake

Day 02: Mullaca Lake – paso del zoro (4980 m a.s.l.) – Ahuac  lake– Huaraz.

 

NOTE: This trekking can be done in a single day (good physical condition and acclimatization).

Average time: 10 to 12 hours of walking

Difficulty: Very difficult.

SERVICE INCLUDE:
  • Transportation: From your hotel in Huaraz to the starting point of the walk, and from the end of the walk to your hotel in Huaraz.
  • Camping equipment: Good quality mountain tents (2 people per tent), mattresses, tent for camping, dishes and kitchen utensils.
  • Food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner (option for vegetarians or vegans).
  • Guide: Certified hiking guide (English or Spanish)
  • Cook:  trained to prepare varied and healthy meals.
  • Porters.
  • First aid kit.
DON’T INCLUDE:
  • Entrance to the Huascarán National Park (See Rates)
  • Personal trekking equipment: Sleeping bag (it is possible to rent in Huaraz), trekking shoes or boots, waterproof jacket and/or pants, poncho, backpack, flashlight, etc.
  • Additional expenses: as a result of leaving the trek early, as a result of emergency rescue and/or evacuation, extra meals or drinks in the villages, medical treatment.
  • Breakfast on the first day and dinner on the last day.
